Public Biography

  • Jennifer Clark is a Museum Specialist with the Human Origins Program, Department of Anthropology, National Museum of Natural History. She joined the Smithsonian family in 1984 and became a member the Human Origins team in 1988. She has BS in Ethology from the University of Georgia. Even though Jennifer’s title says specialist, she considers herself more of a generalist. She manages the HOP lab, occasionally runs the research field camp, archives research photos, looks after the fossil hominin cast collection, is a scientific illustrator and photographer, and studies the microfauna of Olorgesailie.
